I’m a 12 years old boy my name is Mighty. Here is what inspire me in my country Namibia. What is inspiring to me about Namibia is the teachers and the schools. We have very good teachers. They explain the work we are given very well, the home work we do is understandable because the teachers do good explaining. Teachers do not beat us because they know it is not right. they give children knowledge, they teach children to be mature and responsible just as they are. they also teach discipline to children. they also teach children to respect their elders. schools are very beautiful, safe and welcoming thanks to teachers, parents and builders.
Most of our Namibian schools are neat and clean. We do not pay school fund, we are taught for free thanks to our government. Teachers are loving and caring. Schools, big or small are still beautiful and useful because children come together to be educated but it is sad that some schools are small and not all the children can fit in classes. I also love my country because it is independent and free. Our country became independent on March 21,1990. For hundreds of years many people in our country were not free. They suffered under slavery and later colonial rule. People were slaves and not allowed to decide about their own lives. Today we can do everything we want like go to school without being scared .It is sad to watch on television how other children from other countries suffer from war and do not get a chance to go to school or have food to eat. we are lucky here no such things are happening. lastly I am also inspired by my little sister, she can not talk or hear but she go to school just like me and she know a lot of things. I always ask my family how does she know. I love my country and my school.
